Julia has over 17 years of experience in public company auditing, mergers, and acquisitions. Julia has worked at Kreston GTA LLP for 15 years, including three years as a partner. She joined DNTW Toronto LLP as a partner in January 2023, where she served for two years. In January 2025, Julia became the Managing Partner at Horizon.

Julia has extensive expertise in public company assurance, including audit engagements for companies with operations in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, and China. She possesses in-depth knowledge of both U.S. GAAP and IFRS, with excellent experience auditing companies in the pre-IPO stage and assisting with public listings in both Canada and the U.S. Her areas of specialization include reverse takeovers, business acquisitions and disposals, as well as the valuation of equity instruments, convertible debt, and derivatives.

Julia provides due diligence services for buyers and sellers of operating businesses. She also prepares, analyzes and advises on financial statement forecasts as well as business valuation reports. Julia is an expert in capital assets, intangible assets and goodwill valuation by using reasonable assumptions to calculate their future cash flows and determine their fair value.

Julia is experienced with corporate tax preparation, including mineral properties tax returns, flow through shares filing, foreign affiliates information returns, scientific research and experimental development expenditures and tax credit claims as well as voluntary disclosures program.

Julia received her U.S. CPA designation in 2009 and Canadian CPA, CA designation in 2012.
